Simple, transparent, predictable
OpenSeam uses simple per-device pricing that scales linearly with your operation. You pay for the seambits you deploy and the production days you use them. That's it.
How pricing works
Two components
Seambits
$20.-
per device, one-time cost.
One seambit required per sewing station. No recurring hardware fees.
Annual license
$0.40
per workday, per station.
Billed annually at the beginning of the contract cycle.
That's it. No tiers, no complex contracts.
Example: 1,000 stations × 300 workdays = $20,000 devices + $120,000/year license
Whether you have 100 machines or 10,000, the pricing is the same, transparent before any sales conversation. Also, only pay for production days, not holidays or shutdowns.
Calculate for your factory
Pricing philosophy: why we price this way
Transparency over complexity
Many industrial systems hide true costs in tiers, custom deals, and volume thresholds. We believe you should know exactly what you'll pay before any sales conversation.
Fairness across all sizes
A small factory shouldn't subsidize enterprise customers through volume discounts. A large group shouldn't pay penalty rates for scale. Everyone pays the same per-station cost.
Linear cost, exponential value
Your cost scales linearly with station count. Your value scales exponentially: More stations = more data density. More data = better pattern recognition. Better patterns = more actionable insights. Network effects create value that exceeds cost growth.
Aligned with your success
We charge for operational days because we only create value when you're producing. If your factory operates 300 days a year, you shouldn't be paying for 65 idle days.
